I'm a UX/UI designer based in Yerevan, Armenia — where centuries-old craft culture and a fast-growing technology scene exist in the same city block. That tension shapes everything I make: a respect for material detail, and an insistence that things actually function.
My practice spans e-commerce experiences, marketplace platforms, and product interfaces. I work in Figma, think in systems, and care deeply about the gap between a polished mockup and a product people enjoy using.
Product and interface design for BestPrices — an Armenian live-auction marketplace. Designed the web storefront and mobile companion: bid economy, live-floor card states, buy-bid packs, and the order flow from won-auction to delivery.
UX and interface design for Talk2Edit — an Armenian speech-to-text platform with transcription, summarize and enhance actions. Designed the dashboard, upload and record flows, and the editor where users transcribe, refine, and summarize their content.
End-to-end UX and visual design for LionLaurel — an online store for handcrafted Armenian backgammon boards and chess sets by master artisan Hrachya Ohanyan. The challenge: translating centuries-old craft into a luxury digital storefront.
UX, UI, and SEO foundations for CanarianCanary — a Shopify storefront with a refined product catalog and category architecture. Designed the merchandising flow, on-page SEO structure, and content templates that scale across the catalog.
Every project starts with questions, not pixels. I interview stakeholders, study competitors, and combine classic UX research with AI-assisted research to gather signal faster — because the most expensive mistake is designing the wrong thing beautifully.
Research becomes structure through design-thinking techniques: journey maps, How-Might-We framing, and information architecture. I insist on stating the problem in one sentence before touching Figma — if it can't be said simply, it isn't understood yet.
Wireframes first, then the design system, then high-fidelity. I build components and tokens from day one, so what ships to developers is a coherent, scalable system — not a pile of disconnected screens.
Prototypes go in front of real users before code gets written. I iterate on what the testing shows, then hand off with documentation — and stay close after launch, because shipping is the midpoint, not the finish.
